In August of 2013 I ventured to southern Turkey with a group of film students I was supervising for a short documentary production centering on the work of International Blue Crescent, and captured some photographs of Syrian refugee children that I submitted to PhotoPhilanthropy a short time later.
While their site is doing better in recent years, they really need to work on their communication skills.A year after submitting, I’ve found out they posted my collection to their 2013 Activist Awards category.
